If you are interested in playing piano for the first time, or have played a long time ago and would like to begin again, then I can help you develop at your own pace with a goal that suits you. Perhaps you would like to learn popular songs that you've always wanted to play, or perhaps you would like to learn classical pieces. You may want to take Grades, or you may simply want to play for fun. Whatever you want, I can cater for.

* I also offer online lessons - all you need is a keyboard or piano and a camera (your phone or iPad works fine). This has proved very popular, and you can be based anywhere in the world.

For those wishing to take exams, I teach ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) Grades 1-8. They are not for everybody, but they do enable students to grow as musicians. Step by step, they offer clear goals to work towards, with each exam consisting of pieces, scales, sight reading and aural tests. But don't worry, I never enter students unless I feel they are ready! Having taken exam grades all the way up to diploma level, I know the journey firsthand.
